I thought the score really worked with that story; the songs weren't obtrusive and, despite my half-arsed falsetto, the climate chorus ('We Are One') was quite effective. The characters were all clearly delineated, and the plot had some real momentum. As I said last night, the film needs a few scenes at Bellamys with Edgar and Rose: typing unfiltered, I'd say they could have a barroom scene after Barry's Song. - So yeah, this is like the demo album. It's a huge project: a truly Peter Jackson-esque idea. - Random thoughts: I'd say this is another attempt to prove to John Psathas that I can write epic music! 👋 I love this project that he made, and that's what I mean by contrasting instrumentation: https://vimeo.com/166670579
