If you're wondering about my influences for the soap, it was mostly Thirtysomething and Bored to Death.

Plus that Marching Girls pilot. I'm really regretting that soap. Like, I love the 2030 movie and would totally defend my satire, but that soap has been a noose around my neck.

My defense: I'm not as devious as people think I am, and often those are subconscious decisions or otherwise unintentional.

Those character trees do show that I'm aware of my composites and who are the influences, but also that I'm aware of when others have made their own inferences (Jade).

I'm not really keen to make another classical album. The Pan album and shipwrecked are my goals. I'm hunting for a budget way to do the 2030 story, and that's my goal.

My solo album is roughly 5 years of tapes, so it was a lot of vibes... that's my whole philosophy: that an album can have all those different vibes, while there's a limit to the emotional range that a single evening can have. When you're as emo as I am, those things are noticeable.
