That was something several of my teachers emphasised for classical guitar. Jane too, but David Smith talked about it also. It was a contrasting style to the Italian lessons, which were solfege based. I learned to read do-re-mi better than c-d-e, but then I got retrained at Burnside. I'm not really keen to teach as a job, though I like advising people informally. - It's part of my whole business, but that's largely for the Mental Health Break aspect. I only read Dirty Politics recently, but I remember those Whale Oil scandals from my student days. I'm not sure if Sasha's voice is up to Jo. It's a lower register, so I'd have to shift the keys if she/they were to sing it. Strong alto, though. The chords aren't that tricky, so I could figure that out, but I'd have to compare my chord diagrams to the recordings and make some decisions about melodies/rhythms. 👋
